Talkies Latest Malayalam Movie Photos


Its quite common in Kerala to see the theatres being shut down in recent times. These theaters are being converted as marriage halls. In the past ten years at least hundred theatres in and around kerala has been modified as conventional halls or shopping complexes as they can’t run the theatres with meager audiences. Based on the problems faced by theatre owners a movie is to be produced under the name, 'Talkies' starring Mohan Lal in the lead role. This flick is being directed by the ace director, Shajoon Karyl. In the movie Lalettan is the owner of a Class C Theater in a village.

This movie will revolve around the problems of the theater owners in releasing a movie, and various issues in the distribution rights of the Molloywood industry. This flick is scripted by S. Suresh Babu featuring Mohan Lal in the lead. The trio Mohanlal, Shajoon and Suresh Babu has already worked together in the movie Vadakkumnathan .
