Sony Music India’s foray into Kollywood has created many landmarks and milestones with some of the most successful and prestigious projects. After redefining music marketing with chart busters like Sakkarakatti, Dasavathaaram, Vaaranam Aayiram, Aayirathil Oruvan and Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa, Sony Music has now tied up with Sun Pictures to acquire and promote the music of their forthcoming film Singam starring Suriya and Anushka Shetty.
Singam is Suriya's 25th film, Tollywood sensation Devi Sri Prasad has composed music for the film. Suriya and director Hari are naturally hoping for a hat trick after Aaru and Vel. Suriya dons the role of a police officer after Khaka Khaka and Hari directs this police story after Saamy. Singam is produced by Gnanavel Raja under the banner Studio Green and BIG Pictures.
